The primary purpose of this position is to as Administrative Assistant to AFMCLO staff and clients providing complex administrative support, to include task management, Financial Disclosure Programs, and various administrative unit assignments and programs.
Duties
Organize Financial Disclosure Reports. AFMCLO liaison to the Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB) Financial Disclosure OGE Form 450 and OGE Form 278 programs
Administer unit programs. Manage the AFMCLO Personnel Security and Workforce Safety programs by developing goals and objectives that implement DoD, DAF, AFMC, and WPAFB personnel security and workforce safety programs into the AFMCLO
Unit management support. Prepare, create, organize, and process reports, metrics, charts, graphs, monetary computations, exhibits, memorandum, and statistics to be used by AFMCLO attorneys in litigating cases, answering legal questions, or making legal determinations
Perform administrative and clerical duties. Administer the Defense Travel System (DTS); makes travel arrangements, such as scheduling transportation, making reservations, and preparing travel orders and vouchers, based on general travel intentions, known preferences of traveler, and in accordance with appropriate travel regulations

- May be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
- Must be able to type 40 WPM
- The actual work performed in this position has been reviewed and determined that it does not meet any of the exemption criteria defined in 5 CFR 551. This position has been designated as nonexempt
Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience in administrative policies, procedures, rules, guidelines, publications to perform the procedural and administrative work of the office and ensuring unit program compliance by screening calls and visitors, maintaining supervisor's calendar, preparing, reviewing and editing documents, locating and assembling information for various reports, maintaining files/records, and making and preparing travel arrangements.

EDUCATION: Have successfully completed 4 years of education above the high school level. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Have a combination of the specialized experience described above and the education described above; only education in excess of 60 semester hours is creditable in the combination. Combined experience and education must meet 100% of the requirement.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Sound knowledge, whether by education or experience, to perform the administrative work of the organization such as: organizing, preparing, processing, reviewing, and editing documents, reports, correspondence, and statistics; maintenance of files and records; assembling information for various types of documents and reports; and formats and directives regarding preparation of memorandums to produce official documents and communications.
2. Skill with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases to prepare memorandums, reports, and statistical analysis.
3. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and procedural requirements to ensure workforce compliance with financial disclosure, records management, defense travel, personnel security, training, award recognition, and workplace safety.
4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
5. Ability to conduct oneself in a collegiate and professional manner.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
