You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION) in the Systems Division Command Operations Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Duties

You will install software to ensure networks are operational. You will install operating systems to meet an organization's information technology (IT) needs. You will determine approach for implementation of software or hardware to meet the customer's needs. You will plan the installation of new information technology (IT) products (e.g., hardware or software) to ensure seamless implementation.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Managing, monitoring and analyzing system and application performance for an organization; 2) Utilizing system diagnostic tools to ensure availability and functionality of systems required to support organizational objectives; 3) Developing and implementing new or expanding application systems and programs for an organization; and 4) Installing and configuring user application programs for an organization.
