About the Position: Provide timely and accurate administrative and clerical support for the Northern Warfare Training Center(NWTC), Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Duties

Serves as the technical expert for records, forms and files management; Time and Attendance Reporting; Travel Voucher preparation and support; in-coming and out-going correspondence and all Office Automation responsibilities. Uses various data-base support systems to obtain and monitor employee information from various automated files. Provides effective and timely service to government civilian and military personnel when updating travel orders and vouchers into the DTS (Defense Travel System). Obtains and analyzes workload distribution reports to ensure maximum resource utilization and to support adjustments to authorized structure. Reviews and compiles a variety of reports.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementAttention to DetailCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Interpersonal Skills Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
