Duties
You will develop the Facilities Management Plan that aligns with the broader Acquisition Logistics Support Plan and other Program planning documentation.
You will document and communicate facilities requirements for existing and new air systems for the Navy and Marine Corps and coordination of these requirements across Department of Defense Facilities Enterprise.
You will perform site surveys and ship checks in support of program office facilities requirements and emergent needs.
You will lead the stand up of Research Development Test and Evaluation Facilities, Training Facilities, and Operational Facilities by identifying, documenting, coordinating and executing all facilities elements required for occupancy.
You will anticipate and plan for broader infrastructure demands to include networks, physical security and communications requirements.
You will function in a multi-disciplinary capacity, coordinating among subject matter experts (SMEs) within complex technical fields to ensure weapons systems platform characteristics are captured within facilities to support the warfighter.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating proficiency in military construction planning and programming process, with a focus on stakeholder responsibilities; 2) Providing guidance and technical expertise to plan, program, and execute military construction and special projects for respective Aircraft/Weapons System from requirements definition to project completion; 3) Performing site surveys and ship evaluations to ensure adequate space, utilities and infrastructure are in place, and identify facilities impacts, constraints and opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies; 4) Displaying knowledge of processes, tools, methods, and techniques for Site Activation Support Planning to include local and operational facilities by identifying, documenting, coordinating and executing all support elements required for activating planned sites IAW the Weapons System Planning Documents.
