About the Position: This position is with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Institute for Water Resources (IWR). This position will be filled on a permanent basis. This is not a remote position.

Duties

Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis/techniques to resolve complex financial issues. Coordinate a responsive financial management program to assure availability of resources to meet established milestones of the assigned Programs. Manage internal Division resources such as manpower, government purchase card billing, and training/travel accounts. Identify and/or recommend solutions to critical problems affecting the administration of national programs and the attainment of agency program goals and objectives. Use qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and/or measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative and technical national programs.

Advise project managers and technical leads of funding status or delivery problems, and monitors operational activities for financial and scheduling issues, as well as project performance. Anticipate potential problem areas and develops recommendations for solutions within the program(s) for project managers and technical leads. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
