About the Position: This position is at the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Duties

Plans, coordinates, researches and analyzes development of Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) Tables of Organization and Equipment (TOEs). Develops, research and/or compiles such information as comprehensive narrative personnel and equipment justifications. Applies extensive knowledge of past, current and proposed SOF doctrine, tactics, techniques, communications, supply, maintenance, mobility and command and control capabilities. Serves as analyst or as a team leader on all aspects of development of Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) Tables of Organization and Equipment (TOEs). Develops and documents base TOEs (BTOE) and incremental change packages (ICPs) designed to produce the objective TOE.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1) Advising on the integral interfaces of manpower and structural doctrine to analyze current force structure and provide proposals on future structures of organizational units. 2) Providing advisory on regulation and policy guidance pertaining to manpower management, force structure, and equipment,3) Effectively document authorizations for the assigned mission and to develop, maintain, recommend and justify changes to unit Tables of Organization and Equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Planning and EvaluatingStrategic ThinkingTechnical CompetenceWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
