This position is located within the Logistics Directorate, Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Headquarters. The primary purpose of the position is to reconcile accounts receivables (payments received for recycled commodities), enters recycling/solid waste data and information into DeCA 's Waste Management Report (WMR), inputs contract information and associated cost within WMR.

Duties

Conducts quality controls checks on recycling and solid waste transactions. Utilizes various software packages to include: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, WMR and contractor portal. Rectifies recycling/solid waste transaction discrepancies by notifying RM, DeCA locations or contractors. Uploads and maintains all recycling and solid waste documents within SharePoint and DERMAS. Qualifications

You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 0303 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume must clearly show that you have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least GS-6. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military. Examples of specialized experience include: Collects and reports data from databases and/or spreadsheets. Utilize automated systems to input data, trace errors, and perform corrective actions. Communicates with a variety of internal and external stakeholders concerning recycling and solid waste issues. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Additional Requirements that must be met by the closing date: Physical requirements: The work is mostly sedentary. No special physical demands are required. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or carrying of light items. Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA. Time after competitive appointment.
