You will serve as a Supervisory Production Support Specialist in the Voyage Repair Team (VRT) of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will develop and execute plans for expanding, converting, integrating or using industrial facilities and equipment to meet ALRE mobilization, Fleet, or strategic requirements.
You will be responsible for planning, material procurement, evaluation and maintenance of technical surveillance over complex operations in support of prototyping, production, manufacturing/modification and repair and test of ALRE components.
You will develop and execute plans for expanding, converting, integrating or using industrial facilities and equipment to meet ALRE mobilization, Fleet, or strategic requirements.
You will develop and maintain project summary charts, schedules, graphs, tables and other project management tools needed to coordinate, evaluate and execute in-house programs.
You will serve as the program manager for the VRT Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and develop CIP projects to support equipment modernization and facilitate continuous process improvement.
You will act as liaison between quality assurance, production personnel, engineering and contracting personnel to resolve production problems, requests for deviations and waivers and similar matters.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing technical work which involves planning, designing, analyzing, improving and installing integrated work systems comprised of people, materials and Equipment for use in producing or maintaining Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) systems and components; 2) Evaluating shop capacity and the potential for repair, overhaul, and modification of ALRE systems and components and reviewing areas such as overall organization, manufacturing capability, engineering capability, production control, planning and administration; 3) Participating in ALRE development efforts as a member of Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to ensure the integration of reliability and efficiency into the development process; 4) Assigning work based on priorities and requirements of assignments, evaluating work performance, and advising others on technical and administrative matters.
