About the Position: Serves as the Supply Technician for the various CASCOM Hand Receipt Holders. Organizations serviced span multiple locations. Employee is responsible for the accountability, management and logistical support for over 36 sub-hand receipt holders, accounting for over $7.5M in assets and rolling stock.

Duties

Responsible for equipment authorizations, documentation, property disposal, accountability, and inventorying. Post receipts, issues, turn-ins, lateral transfers, and other documents using the Standard Property Book System. Prepare critical reports for management use in making decisions on the administrative aspects of managing and tracking army resources.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical)Inventory ManagementSupply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
