As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as the Deputy Director, ANG-B. Responsible for guiding and integrating Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Systems Engineering research and development activities.
Duties
The Deputy Director provides full senior and high-level direction and leadership to a complex organization. The Deputy reports to and assists the Director of NAS Systems Engineering and Integration in the management, direction and coordination of system engineering programs and activities relating to the National Airspace Systems (NAS) Enterprise Architecture (EA).
Requirements

- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- Designated or Random Drug Testing required.
- A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
- One vacancy in either DC or NJ.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-K, FG/GS 15. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: Experience leading large groups of highly technical and diverse employees to develop engineering, scientific and technical solutions to current and future air transportation challenges that include operational requirements for NAS systems for system functional analysis ensuring enhancements meet current and future service requirements.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Applicants should provide examples of specialized experience in their work history.Some, all or none of the applicants may be interviewed.Security Clearance: Selection and placement are contingent upon waiver or completion of satisfactory security requirement for a non-critical/secret clearance.SF-50 Notification of Peronnel Action is required.
