You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST: NSWC N5 COOP/CIP Program Manager and COR in the N5 Plans, Assessments & Strategy of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.

Duties

You will provide management with the coordination and development of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Critical Infrastructure Program (CIP). You will integrate SOCOM and Navy Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements and act as interface between Navy and SOCOM for the identification and risk management of critical issues. You will assist Echelon III commands with development of CIP Plans and Policies. You will provide management of the NSW Continuity of Operations Program (COOP). You will develop, coordinate, and maintain continuity plans, and validate, update, and reissue plans eyery two years, or more frequently, as warranted. You will provide advice to the Flag Officers, general Officers, and Senior Executives on strategic amd operational planning matters. You will serve as the NSWC N5 Department's Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing quantitative and qualitative analyses of data associated with Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP)/Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning, participating as a technical expert in interagency or inter-service groups to resolve problems associated with Critical Infrastructure and Continuity programs and developing plans in response to exigent natural or manmade disasters.
