Duties
You will provide strategic policy expertise and guidance to Commander, Naval Special Warfare Command, higher commands, theater commanders and other government agencies, and subordinate activities on all aspects of NSW SOF JTAC Direction.
You will provide direct oversight of the NSW SOF JTAC programs, and serves as the senior advisor representing NSW at joint exercise participation and
participation in joint/coalition JTAC program standardization, evaluation, and accreditation.
You will apply expert analytical ability to review and make recommendations on resource intensive plans and projects to assure all objectives can be accomplished, problems can be overcome, and proper priorities can be established.
You will represent NSW in all matters concerning Joint Fires, JTAC training, policies, and procedures.
You will create procedures to establish, maintain, and biennially evaluate NSW and USSOCM JTAC programs to ensure standardization and compliance with applicable regulations and instructions.
You will oversee the planning and assignment of work to the subordinate workforce, adjusting priorities to meet changing requirements.
You will provide advice regarding program management and procedures, systems, and practices for increasing efficiency of mission accomplishment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing long-term leadership, program oversight, strategic vision, and management of the fires program AND develop long-term program planning, training, certification/readiness,and resourcing plans.
