You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST at the NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.
Duties
You will utilize Navy specific financial automated systems (Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS), Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Defense Cash Accountability System (DCAS)) according to policies and procedures.
You will analyze data for discrepancies using a financial management system.
You will develop spreadsheets to track, analyze, and report status of funds.
You will interpret regulations governing the issuance and acceptance of funding documents.
You will continuously analyze program deviations with fund availability to ensure adequate and timely funding for command requirements.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and researching financial transactions and supporting documentation for contract, budget reconciliation, or similar purposes. 2) Generate financial spreadsheets and drawing conclusions for reports to management with limited supervision. 3) Create funding documents, monitor and reconcile their execution. 4) Coordinating records review and funding requirements in accordance with financial instructions and regulations. and 5) Interpret and apply federal financial policies and regulations to ensure compliance with program requirements.
