Duties
You will design, administer and oversee the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related academic programs and ensure they are designed to meet the needs of the organization.
You will be responsible for the coordination, planning and oversight of academic program outcomes and effective delivery of those outcomes through delivery of STEM academic programs with Partner Institutions.
You will develop STEM courses to achieve program outcomes and identify sources of training that can contribute to achievement of academic outcomes and determine how the credits should be articulated.
You will oversee STEM academic outcomes, faculty qualifications, and learning outcomes of courses taught by partner institutions.
You will evaluate institutional research data on achievement of program outcomes, make recommendations, and implement changes to continually improve achievement of STEM program objectives.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
GS-14: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Designing, administering, and assessing the subset of educational programs that fall under the categories of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics);
Leading in partner institution selection, program development, articulation of courses, and management and academic programs.; and
Evaluating assessment and institutional research data on program outcomes, making recommendations and implementing changes to continually improve achievement of outcomes.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must posses:
- Degree: that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position.
or
- Combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described in A above.
