About the Position: This position is located at Fort Moore, GA at Marting Army Community Hospital within Information Management Department. Work hours are typically 0700-1700. The work environment is with a Collaborative Team yet must be able to function with minimal direction. Working expectations is a Clinical Information Systems and Health Information In-person and Virtual for a staff 3000 plus person staff.

Duties

Maintain knowledge of the health care environment for the delivery of training instruction on clinical information systems. Assess the need for Electronic Health Record (EHR) training within the Medical Training Facility and remote clinics based on turnover rate and the estimated influx of new staff. Develop new or revised training or testing materials for formal course use. Utilize educational techniques and training methodologies to develop, implement and evaluate training programs.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, education in health sciences. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Curriculum DevelopmentEducation Consultation, Coaching and CollaborationInstructional Delivery and Learner DevelopmentLearning and Program Evaluation Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
