You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the NINTELLIGENCE DEPT of COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOUR.
Duties
You will employ risk management principles to determine how best to attain the required levels of security measures and levels of protection of classified and sensitive information.
You will serve as a Naval Special Warfare Group FOUR (NSWG-4) representative in matters regarding the eligibility of personnel to access classified information and to be assigned to sensitive duties.
You will determine suitability, security clearance eligibility/need, and classified material access eligibility for the following categories of classified material: Confidential, Secret, Top Secret, SCI, and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
You will Identify and advise corrective actions as necessary when related to threats to security and security violations and ensure that the loss or compromise of classified information is investigated, recorded, and reported to the agency.
You will conduct physical and administrative security inspections of facilities at NSWG-4 and subordinate commands to ensure that security guidelines established by national authorities are being met.
You will provide program management security guidance, interpretation of Navy and national directives and expertise for collateral classified information.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, development, and implementation of policy, management, administration, evaluation, and internal management control of all facets of security to include: SCI, SAP, physical, personnel and information security.
