You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT, N6 of COMNAVSPECWARGRU 2.
Duties
You will function as the Token Security Manager for the Management Client (MGC)/Advanced Key Processor (AKP) system.
You will performs and schedules component command COMSEC/KMI/STE/IRIDIUM/ training visits and inspections, and other USSOCOM required inspections, requiring both domestic and foreign travel.
You will advise the Commodore of reports required and procedures for obtaining replacement material and equipment.
You will assign work to staff based on priorities, difficulty, and capabilities of employees.
You will develop and provide staff level briefings on newly received and implemented material and equipment, highlighting its contents/use and impact.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- Incumbent is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: knowledge of Communications Security (COMSEC) program requirements and the operation and maintenance requirements for all Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment to review, analyze, and resolve difficult and complex problems attributed to COMSEC material and/or hardware.
