You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the INTELLIGENCE DEPARTMENT of COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOUR.

Duties

You will be responsible for development, implementation, management, execution and oversight of all programs relating to the security disciplines of personnel and information security. You will conduct inspections, assist visits, and reviews to observe the command's overall security posture for all echelons. You will develop command personnel security procedures that are crucial to the success of the program. You will be responsible for implementing the command ISP, EAP and SCIF SOP's and instructions as required per DOD, DON, SECNAV or SSO NAVY/DIA established directives. You will plan, develop, coordinate and implement required support for collateral and SCI spaces and facilities and is responsible for establishing command security policies and procedures for the protection of classified information and material. You will be responsible for overall system security administration support which includes maintaining all required documentation and requesting and maintaining individual accounts.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain the Security Professional Education Development (SPeD Certification Program Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within 24 months of being hired.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing security management, training and administrative expertise for implementation of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAPs) involving all areas of personnel, information and systems security.
