About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command G1/DCS For Human Resources Management Field Operations and Support Division located in Rock Island, Illinois.
Duties
Provide various Human Resources advisory services to the Joint Munitions Command (JMC) Headquarters and subordinate organizations.
Develop solutions to complex problems and recommend program or procedural changes.
Act as a liaison with the Civilian Human Resources Service Center to assist with personnel issues.
Execute projects and/or data coordination to aid in strategic planning for command initiatives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advising managers and supervisors on a variety of human resources management issues (e.g. recruitment, classification, deployment, succession planning); establishing internal procedures and controls concerning civilian personnel matters; researching HR processes and policies to recommend corrective actions to resolve problems; and gathering and compiling information to prepare reports/briefings pertaining to human resources programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
