As a Security Assistant at the GS-0086-5, you will be part of FSEM/Personnel Security, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will serves as a Security Assistant and will perform a variety of clerical and adjudicative tasks in support of FSEM personnel security programs.

Review Electronic Questionnaires for Investigative Processing for completed and/or missing data.
Review Electronic Questionnaires for Investigation Processing for submission to the Investigative Service Provider following submission requirements.
Identifies security/suitability/fitness issues for applicants.
Qualifications
For the GS 5: In order to qualify you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.
Specialized Experience: One year Specialized Experience at the GS-04 grade level or equivalent which includes: experience reviewing electronic Questionnaires for Investigative Processing for completed and/or missing data; Generate and review reports from internal case management system; utilize office-based computer programs to complete daily office duties.
OR
Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (You must submit Transcripts).
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. (You must submit Transcripts).
