This position serves as a Senior Policy Advisor and an expert and authority in forensic DNA methodologies, prosecution, victim advocacy and/or related areas.

Examples of specialized experience include: experience providing expert analysis and advice on complex forensic DNA program issues; planned and prepared documents related to forensic DNA methodologies, prosecution and victim advocacy; devised analytical techniques to evaluate findings related to forensic DNA program accomplishments; developed grant management policies in forensic DNA programs; or served as a technical expert in evaluation of complex discretionary grants and/or agreements related to forensic DNA methodologies, prosecution, and victim advocacy.TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications as described above will be further evaluated based upon the following technical qualifications:Ability to provide advice and guidance on forensic DNA methodologies, prosecution, and victim advocacy grants and cooperative agreement policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and guidelines.Ability to apply analytical methods and techniques in the identification and resolution of forensic DNA methodologies, prosecution, and victim advocacy grant and/or cooperative agreement administration issues.Knowledge of the laws, regulations, rules, policies, procedures, and methods governing Federal grants, cooperative agreements, and awards as they relate to forensic DNA methodologies, prosecution, and victim advocacy.Ability to plan and execute work.Ability to communicate in writing.Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
