You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST within NLSC.
Duties
You will provide assistance to supervisors, managers, and the CNO HRO regarding the processing of civilian actions.
You will assist Administrative Officers and Supervisors with coordination of submittal of Requests for Funding using SharePoint, and Request for Personnel Action (RPAs) in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data Systems (DCPDS).
You will review RPAs and through automation and streamlining of procedures, provides assistance to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the Command’s civilian human resources support programs.
You will apply analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature.
Requirements

Qualifications
For GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-07 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing all of the following:
1) Retrieving, entering, and/or, interpreting data extracts and reports from automated databases.
2) Performing SharePoint administration to accurately track personnel actions, update action timelines, and retrieve data.
3) Analyzing organizational structures and work processes for improved operational efficiency and economy for Request for Personnel Action (RPAs). 4) Researching existing laws, regulations, procedures, metrics, and other facts to inform statistical reports provided to the Deputy Director.
5) Implementing management policies, procedures, and office regulations in the areas of staffing, classification, and administrative support.
For GS-07
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-05 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing all of the following:
1) Retrieving, entering, and/or, interpreting data extracts and reports from automated databases.
2) Performing SharePoint administration to accurately track personnel actions, update action timelines, and retrieve data.
3) Analyzing organizational structures and work processes for improved operational efficiency and economy for Request for Personnel Action (RPAs).

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For GS-09
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
For GS-07
1 year of full graduate-level education
or
Superior academic achievement
