Duties
Typical work assignments include:
Develop briefing materials for leadership on program initiatives.
Develop cyber curriculum for leadership and supervisory learning solutions.
Assist in development of workforce plans to meet mission objectives.
Manage subdivision systems such as SharePoint for all employee engagement content.
Lead employee engagement activities such as onboarding or professional development for the subdivision.
Qualifications
To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience for the respective grade level in which you are applying.
You qualify for the GS-13 grade level, if you have:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) performing all of the following duties:
Assisting in administering cybersecurity employee development programs to meet subdivision needs;
Assisting in developing business processes such as guides, standard operating procedures, or directives; AND
Communicating with internal/external agency staff to collaborate on program projects.
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying).
