You will serve as a Program Analyst in the of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will serve as the primary Command interface with assigned suppliers, and be responsible for developing and executing an integrated strategy to improve business relationships between those suppliers and NAVSUP. You will explore ways to capitalize on opportunities that affect NAVSUP strategic goals and objectives. You will align NAVSUP strategy with supplier business needs, to develop partnership in support of Fleet Readiness goals. You will coordinate and consult with NAVSUP Senior leadership and team lead to ensure an integrated approach across the supplier portfolio. You will work with suppliers to maintain readiness, capacity, and open communication channels with NAVSUP. You will provide feedback to the NAVSUP organization, including senior leadership, contracting, and operations directorates to align organizational members and ensure a cohesive strategy is maintained for assigned suppliers.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Supply Management Specialist work that demonstrates having the knowledge and skill of supply chain management policies and procedures relating to the mission and supply operations of shore and afloat activities. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using innovative management practices and principles to develop criteria on which to base recommendations that will solve difficult, complex problems, and which aid in planning future management strategies; 2) Planning, scheduling, and managing programs and projects in order to see long-term strategic efforts and track them to completion; 3) Using data analytics to develop root cause analysis of barriers and gaps and developing appropriate courses of actions to reduce barriers and gaps; 4) Having the ability to develop program milestones and associated actions, coordinating with stakeholders and updating leadership of project status;5) Serving as the focal point for internal and external communications to ensure coordination and strategic alignment.
