Duties
You will manage IT management projects that may include identification of information systems requirements which may include environmental considerations.
You will be required to design or conduct or analytical studies, cost=benefit analyses, or other consideration of factors such as compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures.
You will be responsible for managing IT management projects that may include: identification of standards, requirements or associated infrastructure configuration (e.g., inventory management systems) and/ or change management and change control.
You will devel or implement of information systems security plans and procedures or development of information systems testing strategies, plans or scenarios.
You will manage, lead, and administer IT project priorities, and integrates command-wide IT systems and related sub-systems and is the NSWC IT subject matter expert for assigned project/activities.
You will initiate and conduct formal IT studies with users to determine both systems and user requirements.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 451 level Advanced within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Knowledge of and experience with SOCOM information environments and operational networks; Knowledge of and experience with drafting, interpreting, and applying guidance, policy, and strategy from/to Department of Navy and Knowledge of and experience with enterprise information technology systems acquisition, operation, and maintenance.
