You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, MISSION SYSTEMS GROUP, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIVCode AC33100. As the VH-92A Avionics DAPML, you will be responsible for total logistics management in support of the PMA-274 Presidential Helicopter Program Office.
Duties
You will develop and implement product support and maintenance concepts/requirements for assigned systems to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost.
You will develop and review program technical documentation and provide input and direction on logistics/maintenance issues and requirements.
You will apply logistics principles and practices to ensure the total integration of product support elements to meet program requirements.
You will participate in risk management processes and early identification of system integration risk.
You will identify, plan and execute logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of the total life cycle are in place to meet program requirements. You will implement a plan of action and milestones (POA and M) in support of the logistics program.
You will assist in the development and management of contract requirements (i.e., statements of work and contract data requirements) to support systems engineering/acquisition phases.
You will provide analyses and develop strategy for systems/sub-systems lifecycle support for Obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) challenges to logistically sustain platform to sundown projections.
You will participate in the Configuration Management Process by developing, reviewing, and submitting all associated documentation in support of Engineering Change Proposals, Configuration Control Board (CCB) Presentations, and Technical Directives
You will provide analyses of degraders and data gathered from logistics management information systems in the execution of logistics and program planning documentation.
You will represent VH-92A Mission Systems IPT at the ILS Working Groups, Logistics Products and Process Reviews, Integrated Logistics Assessments, Milestone Reviews and Maintenance Working Groups, etc. in support of the program.
You will prepare and/or deliver presentations to customers/stakeholders in order to address support posture and justify logistics requirements/implementation.
You will defend necessary modifications to previously approved plans to ensure program objectives are met.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Examples of specialized experience: 1) Developing and implementing product support and maintenance concept/requirements for assigned system to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost. 2) Developing and reviewing program technical documentation and provide input and direction on logistics/maintenance issues and requirements. 3) Applying logistics principles and practices to ensure the total integration of product support elements to meet program requirements. 4) Developing and implementing maintenance capability establishment as required to support maintenance concepts/requirements to achieve program goals and objectives within budget and life cycle cost.
