This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Financial Management Division (FC), Office of Acquisition (FA), Acquisition Quality Section (FAQ), Acquisition Quality Business Unit (FAQB).
The purpose of this position is to lead the DEA's efforts to consolidate and modernize the acquisition of products and services in support of the Agency's mission.

As a Supervisory Program Analyst, your typical work assignments may include:
Supporting the acquisition procedures in the area of contract operations, acquisition policy development, implementation, and compliance activities of program areas.
Managing process improvements, maintaining liaison with senior management partners.
Developing and overseeing new projects for business process improvements, evaluating results.
Providing expert analysis and evaluations to management of milestones, schedules, and budgetary resource planning and execution required to support project/program or functional area.
Carries out supervisory authorities and responsibilities of subordinates.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. Qualification claims will be subject to verification.
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to a GS-13:
1) Evaluating contract operations, acquisition systems or policies; 2) Assisting with the evaluation of procurement processes and activities effectiveness; 3) Serving as a subject matter in contracting activities, regulations, and policies.
Specialized experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience for this position includes:
