You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Commander's Action Group, located under the Chief of staff of NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Duties
You will support the NAVSUP strategic planning process, formulating, recommending, and implementing revisions to the process as required to meet the changing needs of senior leadership.
You will develop strategic communications for logistics, quality of life, enterprise operations for the Commander that may, at times, be required in stressful, unstructured, emergency, or controversial situations.
You will assess internal and external environments to identify changes and the impact these changes will have on current NAVSUP command programs and operations.
You will recommend appropriate, alternative plans and strategies when necessary, and serve as a subject matter expert for strategic planning and strategic assessment issues.
You will review, track, and coordinate in-process reviews presented to the Commander and aligns the Commander's calendar of events with the strategic focus areas outlined in the Commander's Guidance.
You will manage Echelon III engagements and other senior leadership events, in support of the strategy development cycle, including agenda development, facilitation, and subject matter briefing as required.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Must possess a mastery knowledge of strategic and tactical planning concepts, methods, and disciplines and familiarity with Navy and joint doctrine in order to support the NAVSUP strategic planning process. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1. Facilitate the development of a logistics-focused command strategic plan/Commander's guidance, including measures of performance; ensure alignment with applicable doctrine; advise the Commander and senior staff; 2. Coordinate enterprise-wide planning activities for a logistics command, providing applicable policy and guidance; 3. Assist with planning and developing command strategic engagement and communications, to include planning and execution of conferences, visits, and monthly meetings with DOD and DON senior leaders at Echelon I to V commands; 4. Coordinate and provide guidance for the formulation and defense of budget, human resources, and IT requirements; 5. Facilitate, coordinate, and manage recurring briefs to the commander provided by the headquarters staff and Echelon III to V commands; 6. Developing strategic communications for logistics, quality of life, and operations that may be required in stressful, unstructured, emergency, or controversial situations.
