You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER for Team Submarines Corporate Operations, in (PEO Attack Submarines).

Duties

You will report directly to the Hiring Lead on a daily basis and support the Program Executive Officer's, Executive Director's and the Chief of Staff. You will manage all Request for Personnel Actions, including recruitment, awards, reassignments, and separations that result in the issuance of Notices of Personnel Action or Standard Form 50. You will evaluate the manpower needs of each program office, make position management recommendations and analyze internal processes as they relate to workforce strategy and billet control, and process all personnel actions for Team Submarine. You will lead recruitment efforts to fill vacant positions using standard hiring practices as well as advising hiring managers on the best hiring or appointment authority to use in filling vacant positions. You will manage personnel information databases by updating and verifying that the data is consistent across the databases: Defense Civilian Personnel Data System, Total Workforce Management System, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and eDACM. You will create and maintain metrics of workforce demographics used in organizational briefs, assesses workforce demographics, and advise management on the results to be used in strengthening the diversity of the organization.

  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating administrative personnel management activities (e.g. manpower requirements, regulatory compliance, workforce planning, position management, development of policies and procedures) to ensure operational efficiency for an organization.
