You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the STRATEGY AND PLANS DIVISION of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will responsible to the International Affairs Branch Head, PLU for the supervision, formulation, justification, and execution of Marine Corps international SC programs.
You will perform advanced, in-depth evaluation of security cooperation (SC) and, security assistance (SA)laws, policy, programs, doctrine, and training to identify gaps and recommend adjustments.
You will analyze and interprets new or proposed SC legislation, regulations, or policies to determine impact on programs, operations, and/or management across the Service.
You will provide advice and input and participates in the preparation of operating plans for critical projects, programs, and policies within the Service.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- In accordance with DOD Instruction 5132.15 "implementation of the Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program", incumbent must meet DOD SCW certification requirements applicable to the duties of this position.
- One year to complete basic-level courses and 2 years to complete all required intermediate-level courses (3 years total).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Analytical abilities and the capacity to comprehend intricate security cooperation (SC) and security assistance (SA) laws, programs and regulations and convert them into workable processes for Marine Corps-wide execution. Possesses the knowledge to present and defend the SA Program Objective Memorandum.
