About the Position: Serves as a Budget Analyst within the Business Management Directorate, Contracting Operations Division, Resource Management, (G-8) with responsibility for programming and budgeting functions of Army Contracting Command Redstone's (ACC-RSA) assigned appropriations.

Duties

Evaluate appropriations throughout the complete Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution Systems (PPBES) cycle to ensure proper integration, data integrity and consistency in analysis. Provide recommendations to the organization regarding program requirements, fund realignments, burn rates, cost benefit analysis, and trend analysis. Advise program and budget representatives interpretation of organization guidance, policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
• Must file a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE, Form 450, upon entry onto the position and annually thereafter.
• This position requires Financial Management Level I certification within 24 months of entrance on duty.
