About the Position: This is a permanent position with the Directorate of Human Resources Military Personnel Division (MPD) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Duties
Identify resources needed and establishes milestones and goals to produce meaningful and measurable results.
Identifies problem areas, deficiencies, imbalances, or other similar factors that can affect performance, customer service and employee satisfaction.
Serve as alternate HR Coordinator.
Use computers to analyze the workforce management program goals and objectives to measure and evaluate results through analytical and statistical methods and techniques.
Use software applications, for presentations, spreadsheets, project managements, word processing and database applications to prepare trend charts, presentations, and briefings.
Serves as DPMAP SuperUser.
Develop a comprehensive Garrison workforce development strategy and program.
Conduct studies relating to such factors as turnover, mission and technology to identify workforce dynamics and trends.
Serve as the Garrison Training Officer and advise Garrison managers.
Serves as the Garrison Training Officer and advises Garrison managers in developing DPMAP documents and training plans for improving employee performance in technical, professional, managerial, administrative, and other occupations.
Plan and schedule approved training using a variety of resources.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service which includes: developing, coordinating, and administering training and development activities using various software applications to aid in preparation of reports, spreadsheets, training classes and presentations; and managing budgets associated with the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
