Duties
Supervisor responsible for customer's requests for process improvement, performing customer outreach, and manage the IT portfolio allowing an enterprise-view and centralization oversight of initiatives and projects.
Performs business analysis and project management functions to ensure delivery, schedule and budget.
Participates in formal and informal management planning, policy and decision-making sessions regarding process improvements, and support of Agency initiatives.
Briefs superiors and attends high level meetings with senior personnel.
Fosters, promotes, and executes actions to involve employees in analyzing and evaluating processes to promote better customer service and program evaluation in order to promote improvement in quality, productivity, and customer service.
Plans, manages, and supervises the assigned staff and provides both technical and administrative oversight to employees.

Qualifications
This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense via delegated authority by the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Applicants MUST have related financial experience AND/OR a related financial degree (examples include: Finance, Accounting, Management, Actuarial Science, or related), in addition to meeting Office of Personnel Management (OPM) minimum qualification requirements. Substitution of combination of education and experience must still, in conjunction, minimally satisfy the DHA qualification requirement.

One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-12 within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized experience is defined as: Performing reviews of financial management processes by managing timeliness of financial systems projects and reviews; applying solutions to financial system requirements and support financial system projects through strategical analysis; planning and implementing analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to determine information systems and program effectiveness; developing or modifying work methods to resolve complex financial system challenges.
