About the Position: This is a Test Score Technician position that operates within the Testing section of the MEPS. The duty location for this position is in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Duties

Serves as liaison to MEPS Service Liaisons for Test Score reporting. Reports and investigates incidents of Test Loss/Compromise. Ensures test score integrity to include: oversight of applicant eligibility to test or re-test; articulates special test situations to HQ Testing Division in order to obtain HQs approval/disapproval to exceptions to policy. Ensures standard and secure score transmittal procedures are in place for locations where automated testing or scoring equipment is used. Ensures that test scores are valid and entered into the automated system in a timely manner and consistent with policies and procedures for the DoD Military Personnel Testing Program. Oversees the use of automated scoring equipment and conducts scoring analysis to ensure proper function and validation of test scoring.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A National Agency Check w/ Inquiries (NACI) background investigation is required.
  • Regular evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
  • Frequent local travel and occasional TDY required.
  • This position requires the ability to possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Database Management SystemsEducational and Vocational TestingIntegrity/HonestyManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). If you are a current, Federal employee, you must include your pay plan, series and grade in your work experience(s) on your resume submission and/or upload supporting documentation (within-grade increase SF50) to show that you meet the time-in-grade requirement.
