Duties
You will identify unsafe operations and/or conditions, assesses severity and probability of facility, operation, and workplace hazards.
You will prepare consolidated lists of violations noted with recommended corrective action for the Shop Supervisors.
You will inspect facilities, industrial operations, PPE, and a variety of workplaces, tools, machinery, and equipment occupied or used by military and civilian employees in the Installation environment.
You will prepare consolidated lists of violations noted with recommended corrective action for the Shop Supervisors.
You will make follow-up inspections to validate corrective actions taken, determines whether further violations are evident, and recommends possible corrective actions.
You will provide administrative and technical support for office activities.
You will provide or assists in providing safety awareness and training to FMS personnel as directed by the Deputy FMS.
You will manage the in person and online safety training database to ensure all employees receive the proper training required to perform their designated duties.
You will serve as the wellness program coordinator, responsible for ensuring that activities, such as blood drives, flu shots, and health and wellness brown bag lunches, are coordinated to promote a healthy attitude and lifestyle for FMS employees.
Requirements

- Recall to duty may be a requirement of this position.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Inspecting workplaces, tools, machinery, and protective equipment and identify unsafe operations assess severity and probability of workplace hazards to advise and report on safety awareness
