You will serve as a MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST within REGION LEGAL SERVICE OFC MID-ATLANTIC.
Duties
You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts to the Department.
You will independently controls and manage all incoming correspondence using established office procedures and knowledge of the organization.
You will conduct initial client intake and schedule appointments.
You will maintain records, files, and reports in accordance with controlling guidance.
You will prepare and handle outgoing mail and shipments.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector equipping me with knowledge of common administrative office practices and procedures related to most of the following: correspondence, maintaining records, files, mail and/or reports, utilizing databases, and customer service, Examples of specialized experience may include the following:
1) Responding to routine and highly technical requests for information.
2) Utilizing various databases to store, maintain, and track case files.
3) Preparing documents, filings, and case correspondence.
4) Researching, evaluating, and coordinating information to identify and verify all relevant facts in a particular file.
5) Managing case filings and status updates for client files.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
OR
1 full year of graduate level education. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent.
