The Primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Nuclear Materiel Management Division's Integration Branch Chief which includes providing program management oversight and integration of the Directorate's nuclear and digital materiel management and technology insertion requirements.
DUTIES:
Provide solid program management leadership of the Integration Branch synergizing efforts to create solutions for senior leaders.
Plan, organize, and execute broad taskings involving Nuclear Materiel Management.
Perform comprehensive analysis and utilize systematic, disciplined, and quantifiable approaches to develop and implement new applications or technologies to resolve unique nuclear materiel management issues.
Lead multifunctional teams from across AFMC to address materiel issues related to air delivered nuclear weapons.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience leading diverse working groups or teams, setting clear mission objectives and providing team feedback.
Experience leading activities either directly or in support of DoD funded acquisition efforts.
An understanding of the nuclear certification process and AFMC's Materiel Management responsibility as part of the acquisition process.
Clear ability to communicate both up and down the chain of command on program status, requirements, problems/analysis/solutions and promoting program objectives.
Knowledge of all systems involved with air delivered nuclear weapons (storage vaults, dual capable fighter aircraft, bomber aircraft, test equipment, support equipment, etc.).
Experience in managing the day-to-day business of a Branch (task management, civilian, contractor, and military personnel actions, etc.)

- Locations are not negotiable. The actual duty locations available may be located on the Air Force Civilian Service website.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing.

- Applicant must possess or obtain a Practitioner certification in Program Management in accordance with the position description and engage in continuous learning activities achieving 80 Continuous Learning Points every 24 months.
- In accordance with the Ethics in Government Act, 1978, employee may be required to file an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, upon appointment and will be required to file annually.
- This position has been designated as an Non-Critical Acquisition Position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP).
- The selectee must meet, or be capable of achieving the APDP certification as designated on the position description within the defined grace period for that certification level after assignment.
- This position also requires the employee to engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 Continuous Learning points every 24 months.
- Employee may be required to work overtime.
- Employee must meet, or be capable of meeting Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements applicable to the position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning the acquisition management process and initiatives. To include, but not limited to: National Security Strategy; National Military Strategy; AFPD 13-5 Air Force Nuclear Mission; AFI 63-101 Integration Life Cycle Management; AFI 63-125 Nuclear Certification Program; AFI 13-500 Air Force Nuclear Mission Responsibilities; TO 00-5-3 Air Force Tech Order Life Cycle Management; and the National Nuclear Security Administration development/fielding process.
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. To include, but not limited to: DODD 3150.02 DoD Nuclear Weapons Surety Program; AFI 91-101 Air Force Nuclear Weapons Surety Program; AFI 91-102 Nuclear Weapon System Safety Studies, Operational Safety Reviews, and Safety Rules; AFMAN 91-119 Safety Design and Evaluation Criteria for Nuclear Weapons; as well as applicable occupational safety rules and regulations.
Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DOD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process. Specifically, knowledge of how AFMC implements Nuclear Materiel Management through supported/supporting Center responsibilities, and how AFMC supports USAFE's and AFGSC's nuclear missions.
Skill to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff in critical aspects of development and production, support of systems, subsystems, or equipment and to coordinate various aspects of systems acquisition such as engineering, contracting, financial management, configuration, test, and manufacturing.
Ability to supervise, mentor, motivate, appraise, and work with subordinate supervisors and non-supervisory employees.
