You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (BRANCH MANAGER) of the PROJECT MANAGEMENT BRANCH in the ELECTROMAGNETIC WARFARE SYSTEMS DIVISION of the SPECTRUM WARFARE DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
Duties
You will manage and supervise the Project Management Branch within Maritime Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Division.
You will be responsible for branch execution of standardized Task Management processes and reporting across the Division.
You will review and allocate workload across the Division's Task Management personnel.
You will perform required administrative duties to include setting employee performance standards, evaluating employee work performance, resolving customer complaints, and monitoring overall branch execution.
The incumbent is responsible for developing and understanding acquisition strategies to fulfill contract requirements to meet customer needs.
The incumbent will have an in-depth understanding of how to manage cost, schedule, and performance of projects.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating technical project requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of electronic warfare program operations.
