You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the USMC of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will provide information and advice to employees, supervisors, and managers regarding civilian workforce development programs, options, opportunities, and costs.
You will stay current on OPM, DoD, DoN, and Marine Corps workforce development policies and procedures, as well as best practices from other organizations internal and external to the federal government.
You will ensure training programs effectiveness through monitoring, evaluating, and analyzing courses and making recommendations.
You will provide support services for the EDR including, but limited to, scheduling, technology use (overview and general troubleshooting) and customer assistance.
You will provide administrative support in the delivery of the organizational development, civilian workforce development and strategic workforce planning services, such as organizing materials, answering phone calls, purchasing supplies, etc.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
GS-11
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing support and services to managers and employees on all appropriated fund personnel program matters, coordinating requests for personnel actions, obtaining guidance as appropriate, and/or resolving related issues and problems concerning policies and procedures.
GS-09
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with providing support and services to managers and employees on all appropriated fund personnel program matters, coordinating requests for personnel actions, obtaining guidance as appropriate, and/or resolving related issues and problems concerning policies and procedures.
