About the Position: Serves as a Team Lead and senior Supply Program Management Specialist for the Army Medical Logistics Command's (AMLC's) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) Logistics & Technical Support Directorate (LTSD) Supply Chain Management Division (SCMD).
Duties
Provides centralized direction, technical guidance, and leadership for forecasting, developing, executing, monitoring, controlling, and defending with all matters pertaining to medical materiel supply chain and enterprise level integrated logistics support.
Facilitates, coordinates and performs short and long-range studies and analyses across projects, policies, and problem areas in medical logistics; Identifies and proposes changes to current business processes, performance metrics and/or data requirements to align with standard Army business practices.
Monitors life cycle costs; accruing, developing and publishing sample data collection programs for medical materiel. Provides Subject Matter Expertise in the application of 12 IPS elements, and supports review and validation of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE) and applicable Integrated Product Support Analysis.
Requirements
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- A Secret Security Clearance is required.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Occasional TDY may be required
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience is defined as; One year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent pay band level in the Federal Service performing the following duties;
1. Evaluating the Supply chain for material readiness, process improvement and optimization AND
2. Analyzing supply data discrepancies for resolution AND
3. Providing resolution on management of assigned complex supply programs.
