About the Position: You will be responsible for supply management oversight, readiness, plans, operations, property accountability procedures and programs, Financial Liability Investigations of Property Loss (FLIPL) oversight, property book officer (PBO) oversight, primary hand receipt manager, and fleet management, providing complete support to numerous directorates and offices.
Duties
Serve as the principal advisor to the Commander, Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) subordinate to the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM).
Provide technical advice/guidance and resolve all supply program management problems encountered.
Direct oversight and prepare all unit/organizational supply documents in accordance with the applicable regulation and/or command policy.
Supervise civilian and military personnel, and oversee contractors engaged in supply, services, materiel management and other logistics operations to include hazmat and property management.
Requirements
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Up to 10% Business Travel.
- This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- One year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience Requirement: At least one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Developing informative supply management program procedures as guidance for managers and/or employees; 2) Providing training, assistance, and advice to personnel regarding supply management programs and systems; AND 3) Analyzing and resolving difficult logistics operations issues and supply problems for an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
