About the Position: Serves as a Data Manager for Medical Logistics (MEDLOG) systems management and maintenance, as well as interfaces with DOD, Army, and retail systems. Works independently or as a team member in the Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC).

Duties

Secondary Inventory Control Activity (SICA) for all medical items as appointed by the Army Surgeon General. Standardizes NSNs. Performs catalog data development and maintenance functions acting as the authoritative source for Army Medical NSN and LINs. Performs analyses of multiple systems [TEWLS, Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP), Army Master Data File (AMDF), Universal Data Repository (UDR), LIW, and Cloud Equipping (cQuiP) and problems associated with medical data in supply systems. Responsible for accuracy of data contained in various DOD databases and corrects errors. Develops, refines, and interprets policies and procedures for NSN and Army medical material master data that interfaces with other Armed Services and DOD supply organizations. Performs Medical Research Cell functions in support of readiness and accountability for medical items.

Requirements

  • This position requires a secret security clearance.
  • This position requires up to 10% TDY.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
  • This position may require a one-year probationary period.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually,

Analyzing complex supply discrepancies in order to recommend solutions and changes in procedures for effective item management; 2. Managing supply/ property accountability through various automated supply databases; AND 3. Analyzing rejected data transactions to determine errors or systemic causes in order to ensure medical data integrity is maintained. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: CommunicationsProduct Support ManagementRequirements Analysis and Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
