About the Position: The U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) is a unique and multifaceted organization that serves as the Executive Agent for strategic medical logistics programs and initiatives. Duties

Serve as a Procurement Team Supervisor, planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating procurement operations for the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency Medical Materiel Sourcing Division. Oversee the technical aspects of purchasing operations and direct personnel in support of mission activities of the section. Analyze requirements, coordinate, and develop Prime Vendor, ECAT, DLA, and Local Purchase acquisition strategies. Evaluate program activities to determine that objectives are being achieved. Advise Directorate/Division management and other officials on program direction and status. Conduct analysis and review of purchase team member performance as required. Perform and review personnel management functions.

  • 1-year probationary period may be required.
  • Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 is required.
  • 1-year supervisory probationary period may be required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing purchasing operations in support of mission activities; making determinations regarding material sourcing solutions; monitoring acquisition methodologies to ensure contractual compliance. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Performance MeasurementProject Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
