You will serve as a FACILITIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Point Mugu Sea Range Department & Sea Range Logistics and Facilities Branch of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.
Duties
You will analyze, plan and implement standards and policy for facility and structural space requirements, to include equipment installations, facility modifications, and cost estimations.
You will provide inputs to space planning and site facilities committees.
You will serve as a facilities project technical point of contact and provides ongoing, day-to-day facilities liaison support between NAWCWD and service providers.
You will provide input to senior personnel in support of special projects requiring research, design and implementation of solutions to resolve department or customer deficiencies or problems in the areas of FES.
Requirements

- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
(GS-11): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Implementing an asset management and condition assessment program in an operation of limited complexity; 2) Inspecting facilities to evaluate use patterns and identify maintenance or restoration requirements; and 3) Developing corrective plans and cost estimates related to identification of maintenance or restoration needs.
(GS-09): Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1) Assisting with asset management and condition assessment program in an operation of limited complexity; 2) Inspecting facilities to evaluate use patterns and identify maintenance or restoration requirements; and 3) Assisting with corrective plans and cost estimates related to identification of maintenance or restoration needs.

Education
(GS-11): In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
(GS-09):
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
