About the Position: Serves as the Section Chief overseeing a team of Program Analysts within the Program and Project Support Branch as part of PPMD. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing a staff of technical specialists, technicians and administrative employees engaged in providing technical guidance and policy directions related to programming and funds management of the Honolulu District's Military, Civil Works, and Environmental programs.

Duties

Serve as the district authority on the internal and administrative duties and responsibilities of financial and resource management for Military programs. Provide guidance and advice to the technical staff regarding statutory, regulatory, and administrative funding limitations. Develop and analyze performance review factors for the Chiefs of Engineering, Construction and Programs and Project Management Divisions. Analyze statistical data to provide an overview of trends and status of performance versus established schedules and targets.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) travel is approximately 5%.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent must have or obtain this certification with the required amount of time. ( 2 years)
