The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the executive assistant under the general administrative direction of the Director, Installations Directorate (a SES-level position).
Duties
1. Serves as the Air Force PM and point of contact for the entire program related to the formulation of Air Force wide Housing Standardization and Evaluation.
2. Conducts Housing Program Reviews.
3. Represents the Installations' Directorate for standardization of the Housing Program with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
4. Provides Housing Program management and authoritative technical assistance to stakeholders.

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group Qualification Coverage for Administrative and Management Positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13, or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience includes that I have, or will have within 120 days of closing of this announcement, 1 year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-13, or equivalent in other pay systems, this includes creating and/or developing laws, regulations, principles, policies, and practices to ensure oversight, control and compliance of assigned housing programs; real property programs and/or housing business practices.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of public and private laws, Federal, DoD, and Air Force laws, regulations, principles, policies and
practices of housing programs.
2. Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structure, and operation of the DoD, Air Force, and
organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence housing procurement, acquisition, development, and/or
sustainment; and knowledge of planning, programming, and budgeting cycles, financial systems, and restrictions on
expenditure of funds.
3. Knowledge of the execution of Private Sector Financing (Privatization) as it applies to the Air Force Family
Housing Program and associated initiatives.
4. Skill in researching, analyzing, interpreting, and applying policies, rules, regulations, and procedures for a variety
of program situations.
5. Skill in analyzing, planning, and adjusting work operations of organizational segments to meet program
requirements and objectives within available resources; and skill in developing conclusions and recommending
solutions based on justifiable facts and evidence.
6. Skill in written and oral communication to formulate/disseminate staff packages and criteria, develop/conduct
briefings, and present issues and recommendations to gain support for assigned programs.
7. Ability to plan, identify, and correlate specific requirements for money, materiel, and services needed to support
Housing Standardization and Evaluation program efforts (including funding, contract development, and other
technical support requirements).
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
