You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FORCE MANPOWER DIVISON of COMMANDER NAVAL AIR PACIFIC.
Duties
You will review manpower requirements and prepare appropriate endorsements and manpower authorizations for submission to higher authority.
You will analyze and revise manpower allocations and make updates to military and civilian manpower requirements.
You will develop recommendations to changes in organizational structures and manpower requirements.
You will prepare billet change requests (BCR) and Total Force Manpower Management system (TFMMS) packages for adjustments to manpower requirements and funding.
You will attend planning conferences as the Fore Manpower Officers representative.
You will utilize end strength limitations and develop billet authorization (BA) for activities.
Requirements

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to climb ladders and climb/crawl through tight spaces while performing ship checks.
- You will be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- You will be required to perform occasional sea duty.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: Providing analysis and technical guidance on manpower management by making recommendations and solutions for manpower requirements and billet support.
