You will function as Introduction to Service (ITS) Analyst and Deputy USN Site/Ship Activation Team Lead within the Lightning II Site/Ship Activation (LSA) Directorate of the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO), and within the Logistics Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will identify all activities involved to provide logistical support for assigned aviation program.
You will integrate actions required of each activity into a comprehensive logistics plan.
You will monitor progress in meeting logistics plan and identify the cause and impact of delays and other problems.
You will adjust plans and schedules for all related actions as required by delays or changes to logistics requirements.
You will evaluate plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and to develop alternatives when required.
You will provide leadership and guidance to internal and external contacts in support of logistics management and program objectives.
You will prepare and deliver presentations on program status, accomplishments, and progress.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DS-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: (1) Applying in-depth working knowledge of advanced concepts, theories, principles, and practices of integrated logistics management to support aviation program goals and objectives; (2) Planning, analysis, and execution necessary to create and establish aviation integration supportability policies and procedures for major aviation systems that operate; (3) Reviewing plans and products to ensure that they meet program needs; (4) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; (5) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and (6) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
