You will serve as an Administrative Specialist in the Public Works Officer/Deputy Public Works Officer (PWO/DPWO) of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.

Duties
You will utilize Navy Financial Systems, including Command Financial Management System (CFMS)/Standard Accounting Budgeting and Reporting System (SABRS) or Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
You will implement sound financial practices and contribute to budget management processes.
You will leverage NAVFAC funds tracking tools (IeFacman) and MAXIMO to monitor, analyze, and report on financial expenditures and resource allocation.
You will collaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize fund utilization and adherence to budgetary constraints.
You will demonstrate strong leadership skills by leading teams through complex and challenging issues, fostering a collaborative and problem-solving-oriented work environment.
You will provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
You will develop, implement, sustain, and oversee innovative and practical administrative processes aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.
You will continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline administrative workflows.
You will direct the establishment of consistent methods for files management, ensuring the organization, security, and accessibility of critical documents.
You will manage incoming and outgoing mail, directives, messenger services, publications, and printing activities, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and timelines.
You will facilitate effective communication within the administrative team and across departments, ensuring that information is disseminated accurately and in a timely manner.
You will coordinate administrative tasks with various stakeholders, promoting cross-functional collaboration and a unified approach to organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing Navy Financial Systems, including Command Financial Management System (CFMS)/Standard Accounting Budgeting & Reporting System (SABRS) or Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); 2) Leveraging NAVFAC funds tracking tools (IeFacman) and MAXIMO; 3) Demonstrating leadership skills by leading teams through difficult issues.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:Master's or equivalent graduate degree
