Position is Term NTE 2 years. Can be non-competitively promoted to NH-03 upon completion of training requirements.
Duties
Assists in the administration of the PEO, BMD (budget, systems, and workflow).
Works on various budget, and workflow systems such as General Fund Business Enterprise System (GFEBS) for such funding as Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA), Operations and Maintenance, Army Reserve (OMAR), Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
Assists in conducting studies which require analysis of interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and/or productivity of substantive mission-oriented programs.
Attends and/or participates with the organization at conferences/meetings with representatives from higher headquarters, industry, other commands, or other government agencies as required.
Assists in the development of internal methods, procedures, and controls to ensure adequate funds control and effective execution of appropriations made available to the command.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security clearance.
- Will be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- This position is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.

Applicants should possess one year of general experienceat the (NH-01/GS-04) or equivalent OR 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
This is an Accelerated Compensation Developmental Position (ACDP). In the development period, the incumbent receives tailored instructions, guidance, training, and supervision designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for successful performance at the full performance level. Supervision becomes progressively less detailed as incumbent gains more experience. Incumbent may be eligible for non-competitive ACDP basic pay increases within a six month period, within the target broadband level or non-competitive promotion to the higher broadband level upon meeting the following requirements: (1) Incumbent completes all required training and conditions of employment; 2) successfully met the benchmark and objective requirements for developmental activities, accomplishment of higher level work, and contribution expectations; and 3) results as well as quality of performance determined by the supervisor. Consequently, ACDP basic pay increase or non-competitive promotion to the higher broadband level is not guaranteed.
